History
Eculink was founded 1991 in Sweden based on experience from management and strategic marketing in a few multinational companies. Cultural skills between Finland and Sweden were also valuable assets for a management advisor across the sea. Eculink established profitable subsidiaries and operations in B2B sector across the Baltic Sea.
When the markets of the Baltic Sea Region opened up also the Baltic countries could be added to Eculink´s area of operations. Business development in the challenging new markets of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania was much of hands-on research to find strategic partners in production and distribution for Swedish companies.
In January 2008 the experience and know-how of developing international business was focused on the growing market of Iraq. After months of market studies about the country the first business visit in Kurdistan took place. In summer 2008 Eculink´s owner and the Iraqi company Ster Group reached a partnership agreement for international business development.
From the beginning of 2009 Eculink is operating from Erbil, the administrative centre and capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, advising Nordic and international companies in developing their business in Kurdistan, “gateway to Iraq”.
